Israel (Nov 15-28)
Rice sent Raul and Christine Villasenor to Israel to assess shelters that need refurbishing. This is for the habitability of the people of Israel, should a bombing occur. This trip was also used to determine the medical supply needs for each shelter. The findings were that there are at least 9 shelters that are on a waiting list for refurbishing needs such as: flooring, beds, kitchenette, restroom, air ventilation, water filtration, painting and much more. The supplies that will be needed for these shelters are first aid supplies, and water filtration bottles. These are the items that RICE can provide with your help. Donations to refurbish a shelter are in the works. Several individuals are beginning to come on board to help raise funds just by sharing this project via people they know. We are very optimistic that RICE and its supporters can help supply and raise funds to help with this mission. Thank you for your support!
