Burma

RICE was able to distribute basic rations of rice, oil, salt, and chili's for over 100 families.

We paid $1,500 to help 100 people for 30 days and because of those who donated- we were able to make sure 100 families would be provided basic needs for the next 5 months.

RICE was also able to provide tarps which will provide shelter inside Burma for those in hiding from the SPDC soldiers wanting to destroy them.

Please click on our cyclone relief PDF to see this trip in more detail.

RICE also brought relief to Burma with an indestructible high performance water filter, the Katadyn Expedition (picture below). This is something that we would like to take with us more often when we do medical clinics for those who do not have access to clean water.

"Meds on Mules"

Burma is a country that has no roads, no vehicles, and no power for those suffering. The amount of supplies is limited to those in need. RICE needs your support to help fix that. The problem is getting the resources across a large difficult area to the needy and in a time frame that can help.

With "Meds on Mules" you can donate $575.00 to buy a mule and feed it for a year. The mules will help carry relief loads to those in need at places very hard to get to. With the mules carrying supplies, we can get double the amount of aid going into the country.

Every mule can carry 200 pounds of food, medicines, blankets, clothes and mosquito nets to women and children who hide in the jungle or live in IDP camps.

With your help, we can aid relief… one mule at a time.

Please contact a RICE representative today, or send RICE a check for $575.00 with "Meds for Mules" written on it. You can also contribute using PayPal through our website.
